About NFKeSolutions

Meet Hanaa Malik

The experience behind NFKeSolutions: decades in classrooms, coaching, and curriculum, focused on helping young children thrive.

Background

Hanaa Malik is an early childhood education specialist with more than 25 years of experience in classroom teaching, instructional coaching, curriculum design, and teacher development, across public, university-affiliated, and international preschool settings.

Hanaa founded NFKeSolutions to bring her coaching, curriculum, and assessment experience to schools, educators, and families. She is a CLASS®-certified observer (Pre-K–3) and an MSDE-trained Early Learning Assessment coach, and serves as Instructional Coach & Special Needs Consultant at CentroNía, a school in Takoma Park, Maryland. She coaches teachers on high-quality teacher-child interactions, inclusive practices for children with IFSPs and IEPs, and reflective instructional practice, using CLASS-aligned observation and feedback.

Her coaching and administrative work, including self-study documentation, evidence compilation, and staff readiness, contributed to two successful MSDE accreditations and a Maryland EXCELS Level 5 rating, the state's highest quality designation, at CentroNía.

She has taught graduate coursework at the Johns Hopkins University School of Education, including Comparative High-Quality Practices in Early Education, and has served as a Regional Instructional Coach supporting Preschool Development Grant-funded Pre-K teachers across Maryland.

Her path into this work includes more than a decade of classroom teaching in Maryland and at International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme schools in Switzerland, along with building programs from the ground up, mentoring new teachers, and developing curriculum for multilingual, multicultural classrooms.
